The oldest town on the Bulgarian Black sea coast.

 

 

There is a narrow strip of land which connects the peninsula with the land. From VI century to A. D. the town was a Greek colony. There were built temples of Apollo, Zeus and Dionysius, which are national treasures now.

 

 

In year 72 Nesebar was captured by the Roman empire.

 

 

In 812 the town became a territory of the Bulgarian kingdom.
At this time the amazing churches from the Middle Ages were built. They are representing the beautiful local architecture.

10:00- arrival in Nesebar

10:00-12:00- a walk in the old part of the town

12:00-13:00- lunch in a fish restaurant

14:00-16:00- Sunny beach: the biggest Bulgarian summer resort, situated 40 km north from Bourgas /free time/
